Celebrating 40 years of Mourne Grange at Fiddler's Green

The residents and co-workers from Camphill Community Mourne Grange were invited to help show-start the Fiddler's Green Festival in Rostrevor last week. Matthew Mc Grath (vice-chair of the festival committee), gave a very descriptive account of his own connection to the community over many years. He described Mourne Grange as a mosaic in which each single piece, regardless of  size, colour or shape is essential to the whole vibrant picture, and said he feels proud that he and his family are also parts that contribute to its overall magic.

The chimebar- players played a melody to introduce the play.

Over thirty performers then from performed a dramatised review of forty years of community life in  Mourne Grange. Each scene was a reflection of the main events that influenced the Community during a particular decade.
